Controversial actress, Tonto Dike once again confirmed her reputation for surprises as she failed to show up at the BON awards in Lagos over the weekend.

Dikeh was announced to be on the performance list alongside Kennis Music act, Capital FEMI, a gesture most of her fans thought would be her chance to further stamp her feet as not only a singer but a performer but alas, the twenty-seven year-old was nowhere close to the venue all through the event.

Actress Nkiru Sylvanus loses her appointment as special assistant to Imo State Gov

I heard from very reliable sources that actress Nkiru Sylvanus has lost her appointment as the special assistant to governor Rochas Okorocha on Lagos Matters. Yes, there's a position like that! :-)

The Abia state born actress had been battling several people since her appointment last year, who felt she didn't deserve the position as a non-Imo state indigene and also because they felt the appointment was meaningless and unnecessary as they didn't understand her job specification.

They also felt she got the appointment because of her 'friendship' with the governor and not because she knew anything about running a public office. These people worked tirelessly to get her out of government house, and if what I'm hearing is correct, they've succeeded.

Ice Prince recently posted on Instagram a picture of himself and the son he fathered this year. Cute, we think. In March 2012, we reported that a 20 year old undergraduate Bimbo Babatunde had delivered a baby boy named Toluwalase for the Chocolate City rapper.

After publicly denying the news, Ice Prince later confirmed his paternity status in an interview with Vanessa Offiong of Nigerian newspaper Weekly Trust’s Weekend Magazine, admitting to being a father two months after NET exclusively broke the story.

Ice Prince, a proud and hardworking dad has named the seven month old kid Jamal and is gradually introducing him to his fans. He recently celebrated his birthday and posted another photo of a birthday card and cake he received with the caption ‘For you Dad, on your birthday‘. Doctors amputate veteran actor, Pete Eneh's leg to save his life

Multiple reports are claiming that veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Eneh reportedly lost one of his legs through amputation due to infection in the leg.

A source in the industry told Nigeriafilms.com that the actor, who has been in an Enugu hospital, has been down since last year when he had the injury in his leg.

CEO Mavin Records, Don Jazzy has signed two producers on the label, they are Aluko Timothy aka Altims and Sunday Enejere aka BabyFresh.
